Calcium Aluminate, also known as sintered calcium aluminate,sintered synthetic slag, is granular or lumpy metallurgical clinker produced by proportioning bauxite and limestone, solid‑phase sintered in rotary kiln at 1300‑1450 ℃, then cooled, crushed and sized. Its main mineral phases are C₁₂A₇ (dodecacalcium heptaluminate) and CA (calcium monoaluminate). It is different from fused calcium aluminate produced by electric‑arc melting.

Grade A (High‑alumina and Low Silicon): Al₂O₃ 60% min, CaO 20%min,SiO2 2.2-3%
Grade B (High‑MgO): Al₂O₃ 38-42%, CaO 32‑40%,MgO 11-15%
Grade C (Normal type): Al₂O₃ 37‑42 %, CaO 45‑50 %
Main Applications：
-Secondary metallurgy for LF ladle furnace: desulfurization, deoxidation, inclusion removal, arc‑covering slag for carbon steel, alloy steel, bearing steel and clean steel.
‑ Slag‑forming agent during EAF tapping process.
‑ Raw material for water‑treatment calcium aluminate powder.
