Calcined bauxite, also known as bauxite clinker, is produced by sintering high-grade raw bauxite in rotary kilns or shaft kilns at high temperature of 1450~1600°C. The calcination removes crystal water and raises alumina content and bulk density. Its main mineral phases are mullite and corundum. With controlled impurities, it features high refractoriness, stable volume under high temperature, good thermal shock resistance, slag corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength.

- Low impurities: Low Fe₂O₃ and alkali oxides (K₂O+Na₂O) to minimize liquid phase at high temperature.

Main Applications：

4.Special ceramics, aluminosilicate refractory fiber, high alumina cement and anti-skid wear-resistant aggregate.
