Mullite Brick is high-performance aluminosilicate shaped refractory brick, main mineral phase is mullite (3Al₂O₃·2SiO₂), sintered from bauxite and kyanite raw materials at high temperature. Its performance sits between high alumina brick and corundum brick.
Key Features:
- Excellent thermal shock resistance, low thermal expansion coefficient.
- High refractoriness under load, stable high-temperature volume stability.
- Moderate slag resistance, good creep resistance at high temperature.
- Low thermal conductivity, good heat insulation property.
- Less tendency to spalling under frequent temperature cycling.
Available Grades:
M60: Al₂O₃ ≥60%
M70: Al₂O₃ ≥70%
M75: Al₂O₃ ≥75%
Main Applications:
- Ceramic tunnel kiln, shuttle kiln, kiln car lining.
- Hot blast stove, heating furnace, heat treatment furnace lining.
- Petrochemical furnace, cement kiln preheater and transition zone.
- Non-ferrous metal annealing furnace and low-erosion high-temperature zones.
