Silicon Carbide Castables are high-performance wear-resistant monolithic refractories based on high-purity silicon carbide aggregate and powder, matched with special anti-oxidation binders and functional additives. The dry-mixed powder can be constructed by water mixing, pouring and vibrating on site to form integral wear-resistant lining, widely used for high-wear and thermal shock frequent furnace areas.
Key Features:
- Excellent thermal shock resistance, stable structure under rapid temperature rise and drop.
- Ultra-high hardness and outstanding abrasion resistance, resist long-term flue gas scouring.
- Low thermal expansion coefficient and good thermal conductivity, uniform heat conduction.
- Excellent chemical stability, resistant to acid slag, alkali flue gas and chemical erosion.
- High hot strength, no softening or peeling under continuous high temperature.
- Long service life in high-wear industrial kiln severe working zones.
Available Grades:
Grade SiC85: SiC ≥85%
Grade SiC90: SiC ≥90%
Grade SiC95: SiC ≥95%
Main Applications:
- Cement rotary kiln cyclone preheater, rising pipe and smoke chamber lining.
- Municipal solid waste incinerator and biomass boiler high-temperature lining.
- Aluminum melting furnace, zinc smelting furnace and non-ferrous metallurgy furnaces.
- High-temperature and high-wear parts of industrial heating furnaces.
- Corrosion-resistant integral lining for chemical high-temperature reactors.
